The “situation” as it’s referred to colloquially, the same “situation” that always exists in Israel, has brought a group of people to the insight that a journey of peace and love is preferable than a journey of war.
so...
The Travelers – There is a strong stream of travelers in the world who come from different countries and nations. People who travel together. We see the potential for change contained in these travelers.
”Walk About” - is an expression taken from the disappearing world of the ancient Australian Aboriginal Tribes. The phrase refers to the custom of walking to think and to find solutions. We think that the solution in our situation will come from love, and thus the name of the Walk is Walk About Love.
Walk About Love is a group that initiates projects with goals of building bridges between cultures and creating a reality of peace and love for each other and for the land in Israel. The group is unionized as a legally registered not-for-profit organization. The “situation” as it’s referred to colloquially, the same “situation” that always exists in Israel, has brought a group of people to the insight that a journey of peace and love is preferable than a journey of war.

My Zaheh would sit in a dark room to contemplate. But also he was a pacer=provencial though it is, it still seems to surfeit the same idea. When I visited HeKotel, then Al-Aqsa, my post card showing the image dear to Muslims, was my attempt tp broaden the context of the fulminate Jewish experience I identified with grandpa, to a jumping off point in the conscious map, so unavoidable as these alternate memorialized places: our cousins' worshipped domains incurring respect. Walking in Ma'ale Ephraim, only a month before the first intifada--up toward Rachael's tomb, gave me levity that peace is symbolic if only for the few...this open crowd more & more need the advantage of knowing.
